Desi Michael

Production Designer / Makeup Artist

Desi Michel is a production/costume designer known for incorporating funky prints & whimsical color to define and detail any set. Based in LA but having traveled around for school she takes a little bit of nostalgia into her work often detailing antique thrifted pieces into sets or sourcing vintage clothing for characters.

She has a dual bachelors in Communications & Film, where she learned to incorporate the conversation of clothes into human relationships and how they work together to tell a story. She aims to provide unique perspectives that clothes are more than textiles but pieces put together to shape a person and their dynamic towards a scene.

Desi also reflects a lot of her costuming vision into her beginning mua experience as well often incorporating whimsical shapes and colors to paint emotion and personality visually through the scene.
